At the Colorado State Thespian Convention, students participate in Individual Events. If students receive straight superior marks from the judges, they are qualified to perform at the International Thespian Convention. The judges also choose one or two groups from each category to perform on the main stage as part of the “Critic’s Choice Showcase” on the last day of the state convention.
