Please join our 9th and 10th grade Theatre majors for The Intermediate Play Series – WORD ON THE STREET. WOS is a student created verbatim style performance with the intention of illuminating social issues through a compilation of realistic monologues. The students have conducted interviews with individuals from our community that explore social justice issues ranging from gender expression, effects from Covid on ER staff, immigration, to the foster care system. Students transcribed the interviews and the show has been built with the intent of using a critical lens on social justice issues to educate and inspire people to move towards a brighter and better future for all.
Each night will feature a completely different group of students and monologues. Performances will be. live streamed at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28-30. See below for the schedule of performers.
